Myth is a Barbarian-specific armor runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected added in Patch 1.11. Created with Hel, Amn, and Nef runes in any 3-socket body armor, it's available at level 25 and provides +2 to Barbarian Skill Levels at a very low cost.

Budget Skill Booster

The only meaningful stat on Myth is its +2 to Barbarian Skill Levels. This makes it useful for Warcry Barbarians during leveling or as a prebuff armor for Battle Orders. The 3% Chance to Cast Level 1 Howl When Struck and 10% Chance to Cast Level 1 Taunt On Striking are novelties at best—both skills are weak and the cast chances are too low to matter. The Requirements -15% helps meet strength requirements for heavier armors.

When to Use It

Myth works as a temporary +skills armor for Barbarians between levels 25-40 who haven't found Skin of the Vipermagi or other better options. For Warcry builds specifically, it's serviceable until you can afford Chains of Honor or Enigma. The Replenish Life +10 and Attacker Takes Damage of 14 are minor defensive bonuses that don't significantly impact survivability.

Rune Availability

Hel runes drop from Nightmare Countess (along with lower runes that can be cubed up). Amn can be obtained from Normal Hellforge or Nightmare Countess. Nef drops from Normal Countess. All runes are common enough that making Myth is trivial. However, most Barbarians skip it entirely in favor of Stealth or Smoke runewords, which provide better overall stats despite lacking the +skills bonus.
