White

White is a Necromancer-exclusive wand runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected that serves as the best-in-slot weapon for Bone Necromancers. Created with Dol + Io in any 2-socket wand, it delivers massive skill bonuses when made in the correct base.

Bone Skill Powerhouse

White provides +3 to Poison and Bone Skills, +3 to Bone Armor, +2 to Bone Spear, and 20% Faster Cast Rate. The key is using a wand base that already has +3 to Bone Spear (or Bone Spirit) as a staff mod, which stacks with the runeword bonuses for a total of +8 to Bone Spear. This makes White the highest possible Bone Spear boost available from any weapon. The +4 to Skeleton Mastery also benefits summoner hybrids.

The "Io Dol" Meme

A word of caution: the correct order is Dol Io, NOT Io Dol. This mistake became legendary in the Diablo 2 community when popular streamer MrLlamaSC accidentally created the runeword in the wrong order during a livestream, bricking his perfectly shopped +3 Bone Spear wand. The chat erupted, and "Io Dol" became a running joke that still appears in his streams to this day. Don't let this happen to you—always double-check before socketing!

Finding the Best Base

Shop for wands with +3 to Bone Spear from Drognan in Act 2 Normal. Look for Bone Wands, Grim Wands, or other wand types. Use Larzuk's quest for guaranteed 2 sockets, or the Horadric Cube socket recipe (5/6 chance for 2 sockets). Both Dol and Io runes drop easily in Nightmare. Use White through endgame until you find a rare +6 Bone Spear wand or unique alternatives like Death's Web for poison builds.
