Death's Web is an elite unique Unearthed Wand in Diablo 2 Resurrected and one of the rarest, most sought-after items in the entire game. This level 66 wand is the absolute best-in-slot weapon for Poison Necromancers, offering a game-changing combination of stats that no other item can match.

The Ultimate Poison Weapon

Death's Web provides +2 to All Skills and +1-2 to Poison and Bone Skills, giving up to +4 effective levels to all poison abilities. However, its defining feature is the extremely rare -40-50% to Enemy Poison Resistance stat—one of only a handful of items in the game with this modifier. This resistance reduction is multiplicative and devastating: enemies with 75% poison resistance are reduced to 25-37% with a perfect roll, dramatically amplifying Poison Nova and other poison skill damage. The wand also grants +7-12 Life After Each Kill and +7-12 Mana After Each Kill for sustain.

Extreme Rarity & Value

As a Treasure Class 87 item, Death's Web can only drop from specific sources: Hell Baal, Nihlathak, Diablo, and monsters in Area Level 85 zones like the Pit, Ancient Tunnels, and Worldstone Keep. Its drop rate is astronomically low—many players farm for years without seeing one. Perfect rolls with -50% poison resistance and +2 to Poison and Bone Skills command multiple high runes in trades, often Ber or higher. Even mediocre rolls hold significant value. Ethereal versions are particularly prized by collectors since casters don't lose durability.

Best-in-Slot Status

For Poison Nova Necromancers, Death's Web has no competition—it's simply the best weapon in the game. The poison resistance reduction multiplies damage output far beyond what Heart of the Oak or other alternatives can provide. The lack of Faster Cast Rate is compensated by other gear slots, and the poison damage amplification is worth the tradeoff. Some Plague Javelin Amazons even weapon-swap to Death's Web mid-throw to apply the resistance reduction.
