Peace

Peace is an Amazon-exclusive armor runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected that delivers excellent early-to-mid game value with +2 to Amazon Skill Levels, +2 to Critical Strike, and a powerful Level 15 Valkyrie summon. Created with Shael + Thul + Amn in any 3-socket body armor, it's one of the cheapest skill-boosting armors available at level 29.

Critical Strike and Skills

The +2 to Critical Strike grants a 25% chance to deal double damage, which is massive for Bowazons and Javazons who don't invest heavily in this skill. Combined with +2 to Amazon Skills, Peace boosts both offensive damage and defensive passives like Dodge, Avoid, and Evade. The +20% Faster Hit Recovery improves survivability against fast-hitting enemies.

Valkyrie Tank

Peace's hidden strength is the 2% Chance to Cast Level 15 Valkyrie on Striking. Despite the low percentage, the Valkyrie procs frequently and stays active throughout combat. As of patch 2.5, the summoned Valkyrie no longer despawns when drinking potions or managing inventory, creating a nearly permanent tank. This is perfect for "caster" Amazons using Frozen Arrow, Lightning Fury, or Immolation Arrow who need crowd control without skill point investment.

Best Uses and Bases

Peace excels for Lightning Fury Javazons, Frozen Arrow builds, and Bowazons during Nightmare and Hell progression. Use lightweight bases like Mage Plate (55 str) or Dusk Shroud for minimal strength requirements. All three runes drop from Nightmare Countess, making Peace incredibly cheap for ladder starts. Replace it with Enigma, Chains of Honor, or Fortitude in endgame.
