Melody is a budget Amazon bow runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected that provides excellent skill bonuses for elemental Bowazons. Created with Shael + Ko + Nef in any 3-socket bow or crossbow, it's perfect for Frost Maidens and Fire Arrow builds during leveling and early endgame.

Skill-Based Powerhouse

Melody's strength lies in its Amazon-specific skill bonuses: +3 to Bow and Crossbow Skills, +3 to Critical Strike, +3 to Dodge, and +3 to Slow Missiles. When made in an Amazon-specific bow with +3 to Bow and Crossbow Skills (like Matriarchal Bow or Grand Matron Bow), you gain +6 total bow skills. The runeword also provides 20% Increased Attack Speed, +50% Enhanced Damage, +300% Damage to Undead, +10 to Dexterity, and Knockback.

Best Uses and Upgrade Path

Melody excels for elemental damage builds like Frost Maiden (Ice Arrow, Freezing Arrow) and Fire Arrow builds that scale primarily from +skills rather than weapon damage. Eventually upgrade to Harmony for Vigor aura and better damage, then Faith or Windforce for endgame. Not recommended for physical Bowazons since the low Enhanced Damage doesn't support Strafe or Multiple Shot builds.
