Radiance is an overlooked helm runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected that's outclassed by Lore. Created with Nef, Sol, and Ith runes in any 3-socket helm, it's available at level 27 but offers defensive stats instead of the crucial +skills that casters need.

Defensive Focus

Radiance provides +75% Enhanced Defense, Damage Reduced By 7, and Magic Damage Reduced By 3—all defensive bonuses that don't address what casters actually need. The 15% Damage Taken Goes to Mana is interesting in theory but rarely impactful in practice. The +33 to Mana, +10 to Energy, and +10 to Vitality provide minor survivability increases.

Why Use Lore Instead

At the same level requirement (27) and using cheaper runes (Ort + Sol), Lore provides +1 to All Skills, which vastly outweighs Radiance's defensive bonuses for any caster build. The problem with Radiance is that by the time you find a 3-socket helm base, you've likely found better unique helms or can make Lore more easily. All three runes drop from Normal Countess or can be cubed, but there's simply no compelling reason to make this runeword.
