Passion

Passion is a niche melee weapon runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected best known for providing Zeal and Berserk skills to non-Paladin/Barbarian classes. Created with Dol + Ort + Eld + Lem in any 4-socket weapon, it's primarily used for melee Sorceress builds (Enchantress) and other unconventional melee characters.

Skill-Granting Weapon

Passion's unique feature is granting +1 to Zeal and +1 to Berserk to any class. This allows Sorceresses, Necromancers, and other casters to use melee skills effectively when combined with Enchant or other damage buffs. The runeword provides +25% Increased Attack Speed, +160-210% Enhanced Damage, 50-80% Bonus to Attack Rating, Adds 1-50 Lightning Damage, and 75% Extra Gold from Monsters. Defensive mods include Hit Blinds Target +10 (enemies can't use ranged attacks) and Hit Causes Monster to Flee 25%.

Best Uses and Limitations

Primary use is Enchantress Sorceress builds using Phase Blade for fast attack speed. The "Hit Causes Monster to Flee" mod is annoying for melee combat. All runes drop from Hell Countess. Very niche weapon—most melee builds prefer damage-focused runewords like Grief or Oath.
