King's Grace is a mostly impractical melee runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Created with Amn, Ral, and Thul runes in any 3-socket sword or scepter, it's available at level 25 but faces a critical rune availability issue that makes it rarely worth creating.

The Rune Availability Problem

While Ral drops from Normal Countess, Thul does not—it only becomes available in Nightmare difficulty. Amn is also a Nightmare rune. Players don't realistically farm lower runes to cube up to these, making King's Grace unavailable until Nightmare at the earliest. By that point, there are significantly better weapon options available, including Spirit sword, Insight polearms, or various unique weapons that outclass this runeword entirely.

Theoretical Benefits

If you could make it early, King's Grace would offer +100% Damage to Demons, +50% Damage to Undead, and +100% Enhanced Damage, along with 7% Life Stolen Per Hit and solid attack rating bonuses. The 5-30 Fire Damage and 3-14 Cold Damage would add elemental variety. However, these stats are insufficient to justify using this runeword in Nightmare when you can actually obtain the runes.

Verdict

King's Grace is essentially a trap runeword—it looks useful for its level requirement, but the reality of rune availability means it's obsolete by the time you can make it. Skip this runeword entirely and focus on alternatives that are actually obtainable when you need them.
