Witherstring

Witherstring is a unique Hunter's Bow in Diablo 2 Resurrected designed for early progression. This level 13 bow provides decent damage output and attack speed for characters transitioning through Normal difficulty.

Stats & Properties

Witherstring features +40-50% Enhanced Damage, 30% Increased Attack Speed, and Fires Magic Arrows [Level 3]. The magic arrows provide guaranteed damage that never misses, making it reliable against high-defense enemies. It also adds 1-3 damage and +50 to Attack Rating.

When to Use

Equip Witherstring from level 13 through the mid-20s on Amazon, Rogue mercenaries, or any bow-focused character. The built-in IAS helps you reach better attack speed breakpoints without additional gear investment. The magic arrows proc is particularly useful for hitting difficult targets in Acts 2-3 Normal.

Replacement Options

Replace Witherstring when you find Raven Claw, craft a better rare bow, or can equip Edge runeword for its Thorns aura. By level 25-30, you'll want something with higher damage potential for Nightmare difficulty.
