The weapon delivers +5 to Impale and +3 to Power Strike (Amazon Only), making it the sole unique item boosting Impale. With +140-170% Enhanced Damage, 20% Increased Attack Speed, and Ignore Target's Defense, it provides reasonable combat stats. The 40% Chance of Open Wounds adds damage over time, while +150 to Attack Rating and Prevent Monster Heal round out its offensive capabilities.

Underwhelming Performance

Available at level 31, The Impaler serves as a transitional weapon for spear Amazons through Nightmare difficulty. However, both Impale and Power Strike are considered underwhelming skills, limiting the weapon's appeal. Runewords like Honor, Insight, and Obedience generally outperform it in damage and utility. While better than most items found during a normal playthrough for spear-focused Amazons, it remains a niche option that's quickly replaced by superior alternatives in endgame content.
