Stormstrike

Stormstrike is a unique Short Battle Bow in Diablo 2 Resurrected that brings lightning damage to the table at level 25. This bow provides a different damage type that can help overcome physical resistances.

Stats & Properties

Stormstrike grants +70-80% Enhanced Damage, Adds 1-10 Lightning Damage, and +10% Chance of Hit Piercing Target. While the lightning damage range seems small, it benefits from your Dexterity scaling and can add meaningful damage against low-resistance targets.

When to Equip

This bow works best from level 25-35 in late Normal and early Nightmare difficulty. The piercing attack is useful when fighting in tight corridors where enemies line up, allowing your arrows to damage multiple targets. The lightning damage helps against physically resistant enemies you'll encounter in Nightmare Act 1.

Limitations

The low lightning damage doesn't scale well into higher difficulties, and lightning-immune enemies will ignore that portion completely. By the time you reach Nightmare Act 2-3, you'll want to upgrade to Kuko Shakaku, Skystrike, or start using runewords for better damage output.
