Stormrider is a unique Tabar at level 41 that focuses entirely on lightning damage, featuring multiple lightning-based proc abilities.

Lightning Arsenal

Stormrider provides +100% Enhanced Damage, Adds 35-75 Damage, and massive Adds 1-200 Lightning Damage for substantial elemental damage. The weapon features multiple lightning procs: 5% Chance to Cast Level 10 Chain Lightning on Striking, 10% Chance to Cast Level 13-20 Charged Bolt on Striking, and 15% Chance to Cast Level 5 Charged Bolt When Struck. Additional protection comes from Attacker Takes Lightning Damage of 15.

Lightning Damage Focus

The high lightning damage range and Chain Lightning proc make Stormrider effective for farming lightning-vulnerable enemies in Nightmare and early Hell. The multiple lightning-casting abilities create impressive visual effects and can clear groups when they trigger. However, lightning immunities are common in Hell difficulty, severely limiting where this weapon remains useful. The slow attack speed of the Tabar base also hurts overall damage output. By level 45-50, most players prefer weapons with more consistent damage or move to builds that don't rely on a single element.
