Stone Crusher is an elite unique Legendary Mallet in Diablo 2 Resurrected that provides high damage and Crushing Blow for one-handed builds. This weapon serves as the more common alternative to Schaefer's Hammer, offering solid Hell difficulty performance at accessible pricing.

Physical Offense

Stone Crusher delivers +210-270% Enhanced Damage, +40% Crushing Blow, and +25% Increased Attack Speed, creating strong physical DPS. The weapon provides +40% Faster Hit Recovery, helping you recover quickly from stuns in dangerous situations. Additional modifiers include +50% Damage to Undead and Adds 3-33 Lightning Damage for minor elemental support.

Crushing Blow Focus

The 40% Crushing Blow makes Stone Crusher effective for boss farming and dealing with high-HP targets. Crushing Blow removes a percentage of current health per hit, meaning this weapon remains relevant even in Hell difficulty when fighting Diablo, Baal, or Uber bosses. The one-handed design allows shield use for additional block chance and resistances.

Budget Alternative

Stone Crusher works from level 68 through Hell difficulty, though it's overshadowed by the extremely rare Schaefer's Hammer, which offers Indestructible, better damage, and Static Field procs. The significantly higher drop rate (roughly 5x more common than Schaefer's) makes Stone Crusher affordable and accessible. For budget builds needing Crushing Blow without investing in expensive runewords, Stone Crusher provides solid value. However, the relatively slow attack speed and lack of additional utility like life leech mean most endgame builds eventually transition to weapons like Grief or specialized runewords for their build type.
