Moser's Blessed Circle

Moser's Blessed Circle is a unique Round Shield (Exceptional) that stands out as one of the most useful mid-game shields in Diablo 2 Resurrected. Requiring level 31, this shield combines excellent all-resistance, strong blocking, and two sockets, making it a versatile defensive option for many builds during Nightmare and early Hell difficulty.

All-Resistance and Sockets

The defining features are All Resistances +25 and Socketed (2). The built-in sockets allow you to add two perfect diamonds for +38 All Resistances total (63 combined), or two Um runes for significant all-resist bonuses. This flexibility makes Moser's extremely valuable for reaching resistance caps in Hell difficulty, where the -100 resistance penalty makes proper gear essential.

Blocking and Defense

With +180-220% Enhanced Defense, +25% Increased Chance of Blocking, and 30% Faster Block Rate, Moser's offers outstanding defensive capabilities. Paladins reach 67% base block, while melee classes hit 62%. The combination of high block chance, fast block rate, and socketability make this shield excellent for Hardcore players or any character who needs to survive dangerous situations. While eventually replaced by elite shields like Spirit or Stormshield, Moser's remains highly effective through most of Nightmare and can even serve in early Hell. It's particularly popular for characters who need resistance-capped defense without sacrificing too much offense.
