When to Use It

With +80-130% Enhanced Defense, Lidless Wall provides decent defense, though its low base block chance means you'll rarely block attacks. The shield serves as an excellent mid-game option and remains viable into early Hell difficulty. It's particularly valuable in ladder resets when Spirit bases are hard to find. However, once you can make a 35% FCR Spirit shield, most casters will upgrade, as Spirit provides +2 skills, higher FCR, and faster hit recovery. Lidless remains a strong budget option and works well for builds that don't need maximum FCR or are struggling to find a good Spirit base.
