Knell Striker

Knell Striker is an early-game unique scepter in Diablo 2 Resurrected designed for low-level characters starting their journey through Sanctuary. Available from level 5, this normal-tier weapon serves as a stepping stone for Paladins and other classes in Normal difficulty.

Early Game Performance

This scepter shines briefly during the initial acts with its 25% Crushing Blow and dual resistances. The +20% Fire Resistance and +20% Poison Resistance provide valuable protection against Andariel and other early bosses. The +70-80% Enhanced Damage and +50% Damage to Undead offer decent offense for characters levels 5-15.

When to Replace

Knell Striker should be replaced by the mid-teens when better options become available. Spirit runeword, crafted scepters with useful skills, or other unique finds will quickly outperform this weapon. While it can be upgraded through the Horadric Cube to Rune Scepter and eventually Mighty Scepter, the stat requirements and effort aren't worthwhile given superior alternatives.
