Islestrike is a unique Twin Axe designed specifically for Druids, available at level 43, offering class-specific bonuses that make it a strong choice for shapeshifter builds.

Druid-Focused Design

Islestrike provides +2 to Druid Skill Levels, +1 to Fury, and +1 to Maul, making it ideal for Werebear and Werewolf builds. The weapon delivers +170-190% Enhanced Damage, 25% Chance of Crushing Blow, +50 Defense vs. Missiles, and +10 to All Attributes. The skill bonuses significantly boost both your shapeshifting forms and primary attack skills.

Shapeshifter Weapon

For Druid shapeshifters in Nightmare difficulty, Islestrike offers substantial benefits through the +2 skills and Crushing Blow. The attribute bonuses help meet equipment requirements while the missile defense provides minor survivability. However, by level 50-60 in Hell difficulty, better weapons become available, particularly runewords like Grief or Oath that offer superior damage and utility. Islestrike works best as a transitional weapon for Druids progressing through Nightmare, but shouldn't be considered endgame gear.
