While Vidala's Rig set offers the same piercing chance at a lower level, Ichorsting provides better standalone stats.
Practical Use
This crossbow works well for characters progressing through late Normal and early Nightmare, particularly for Amazons using Multishot or Physical Bowazons who benefit from piercing. The poison damage offers minor utility against regenerating enemies. Most players transition away from Ichorsting by mid-Nightmare in favor of higher-damage options.
