The weapon features 5% Chance to Cast Level 8 Poison Nova on Striking, spreading poison damage to nearby enemies. Defensive bonuses include Poison Resist +30% and Attacker Takes Damage of 15.

Poison Build Consideration

The substantial poison damage makes Guardian Naga effective against enemies without poison immunity in Nightmare and early Hell. The Poison Nova proc adds area damage potential, though the 10-second duration means damage applies slowly. The main limitation is widespread poison immunity in Hell difficulty, making the weapon's primary strength irrelevant in many areas. Additionally, enemies that can cure poison won't take full damage.
