Magic Damage & Speed

Ginther's Rift delivers 50-120 magic damage alongside +100-150% enhanced damage and 30% increased attack speed. The magic damage bypasses physical immunities, making this weapon more versatile than pure physical damage swords against resistant enemies. The very fast Dimensional Blade base type combined with IAS modifier results in extremely quick attacks, ideal for applying on-hit effects or life/mana leech. The weapon's magic damage reduced by 7-12 provides minor defensive utility.

Self-Repair Advantage

The weapon features Repairs 1 Durability in 5 Seconds, making it ideal for ethereal versions. An ethereal Ginther's Rift gains 50% more damage while never breaking, significantly improving its viability. This makes it one of the few unique weapons where finding an ethereal version is actively desirable without requiring a Zod rune.

Upgrade Path

Ginther's Rift can be upgraded to an indestructible Phase Blade through the Horadric Cube, gaining the fastest weapon speed in the game. However, the upgrade barely increases maximum damage while significantly raising requirements.
