Firelizard's Talons are elite unique Feral Claws in Diablo 2 Resurrected designed around fire damage and fire-based Martial Arts skills. Available at level 67, these claws offer massive elemental damage but suffer from significant limitations that prevent widespread endgame use.

Massive Fire Damage

The claws provide Adds 236-480 Fire Damage—an enormous amount of flat elemental damage. Combined with +200-270% Enhanced Damage and +15% Increased Attack Speed, they deal impressive fire-based physical attacks. The +1-3 to Martial Arts variable roll boosts combat skills, while +1-2 to Wake of Inferno and +1-2 to Wake of Fire support fire trail builds. The +40-70% Fire Resistance provides useful defensive coverage against fire damage.

Niche Application Issues

Despite impressive stats on paper, Firelizard's Talons face critical problems. The fire damage doesn't scale with Fists of Fire or Dragon Tail's elemental conversion—it only applies to normal attacks, severely limiting synergy with most Martial Arts builds. Hell difficulty's prevalent fire immunities render the weapon ineffective in many areas. The lack of life leech, mana leech, and all resistances (only fire) makes it less practical than Bartuc's Cut-Throat or Jade Talon for general use. Wake of Fire/Inferno builds are uncommon and generally inferior to trap or physical Martial Arts alternatives. These claws are typically found, admired briefly for their fire damage numbers, then replaced with more versatile options. A collector's item rather than a competitive choice.
