This level 36 bow combines cold damage with skill bonuses to create a specialized weapon for multi-target attacks.
Stats & Properties
Endlesshail provides +180-220% Enhanced Damage, Adds 15-30 Cold Damage (3 Second Duration), and +3-5 to Strafe (Amazon Only). It grants +50 Defense vs. Missile, +40 to Mana, and Cold Resist +35%. The Double Bow base has a -10 attack speed modifier, making it naturally fast.
Strafe Specialist
This is the only unique item in the game with bonuses to Strafe, making it ideal for Strafe-focused Amazon builds. The +3-5 skill levels significantly boost Strafe's damage and attack rating. Combined with the cold damage, each Strafe volley slows enemies and damages multiple targets simultaneously.
When to Use
Use Endlesshail from level 36 through Nightmare difficulty if you're building a Strafe Amazon. The bow's cold damage helps control enemy movement, while the missile defense protects against ranged attackers. The mana bonus helps sustain Strafe usage during extended encounters.
Limitations
Endlesshail falls off in Hell difficulty due to cold-immune enemies and comparatively modest damage scaling. The upgrade to Great Bow requires 127 Strength and 107 Dexterity, which is a steep investment for marginal damage gains. Most Amazons replace this bow with Witchwild String, Goldstrike Arch, or eventually elite gear like Windforce.
