Eaglehorn is an elite unique Crusader Bow in Diablo 2 Resurrected that scales with character level. This level 69 bow offers competitive damage and the powerful Ignore Target's Defense modifier.

Eaglehorn provides +200% Enhanced Damage, +2-198% Enhanced Maximum Damage (Based on Character Level), and +1 to Amazon Skill Levels. It grants +(6 Per Character Level) 6-594 to Attack Rating, +25 to Dexterity, and Ignores Target's Defense.

Ignore Target's Defense

The Ignore Target's Defense modifier is Eaglehorn's standout feature. This property sets enemy defense to zero, meaning every attack depends only on your attack rating against a defense value of zero. In Hell difficulty where monsters have massive defense values, this makes hitting significantly easier and more consistent.

Level Scaling

The damage and attack rating both scale with character level, reaching maximum effectiveness at level 99. At high levels, Eaglehorn's damage becomes competitive with other elite bows. The massive attack rating bonus combined with Ignore Target's Defense creates extremely reliable hit chance.

Eaglehorn vs. Windforce

While Windforce delivers higher raw damage, Eaglehorn's Ignore Target's Defense can result in more consistent performance against high-defense enemies. For characters without massive attack rating from gear and charms, Eaglehorn may actually provide better effective DPS. The +25 Dexterity also helps meet equipment requirements and adds to bow damage scaling.

Best Applications

Eaglehorn works well on Amazon bow builds in Hell difficulty, particularly for characters still assembling optimal gear. It performs especially well against Act Bosses and high-defense champions. The bow remains viable through endgame farming, though most players eventually upgrade to Windforce, Faith runeword, or other top-tier options.
