Baranar's Star is an elite unique Devil Star in Diablo 2 Resurrected that provides tri-elemental damage for breaking immunities in Hell difficulty. This weapon combines fire, lightning, and cold damage with exceptional attack speed, making it versatile against any enemy type.

Tri-Elemental Offense

Baranar's Star delivers +200% Enhanced Damage combined with Adds 1-200 Fire Damage, Adds 1-200 Lightning Damage, and Adds 1-200 Cold Damage. This tri-elemental approach means you can damage any enemy regardless of immunity—Physical Immunes die to elemental damage, Cold Immunes die to fire and lightning, and so on. The weapon provides 50% Increased Attack Speed and 200% Bonus to Attack Rating, ensuring fast, accurate hits.

Stat Bonuses

The +15 to Strength and +15 to Dexterity help meet equipment requirements while boosting damage and attack rating further. Combined with +50% Damage to Undead, this weapon performs well in undead-heavy areas like Act 5 or the Chaos Sanctuary.

Viable Hell Option

Baranar's Star works from level 65 through Hell difficulty, particularly for builds that struggle with immunities. Avenger Paladins synergize well with the elemental damage, while Dream Paladins appreciate having backup damage types. However, the weapon lacks Crushing Blow or Deadly Strike, limiting its effectiveness against high-HP bosses. The tri-elemental damage also spreads thin—you're not maximizing any single element. Most endgame builds eventually replace Baranar's Star with specialized weapons or runewords like Grief, though it remains a solid budget option for Hell farming when you can't afford top-tier gear.
