Hustle weapon is a budget attack speed runeword in Diablo 2 Resurrected introduced in Patch 2.4. Created with Shael + Ko + Eld in any 3-socket weapon, it provides massive IAS bonuses and cheap access to Fanaticism aura.

Stacking Attack Speed

Hustle delivers attack speed through three sources: +30% Increased Attack Speed from the runeword itself, +14% IAS from Level 1 Fanaticism Aura, and +21% IAS from Level 1 Burst of Speed (5% chance to proc on striking). Combined, this totals approximately 65% IAS—one of the highest values from a single item. The aura also grants +50% Enhanced Damage (25% for party members) and +40 Attack Rating. Additional mods include +180-200% Enhanced Damage, +75% Damage to Undead, and +10 to Dexterity.

Best Uses and Limitations

Excellent for Act 1 mercenaries as a budget Faith alternative for Fanaticism. Works well on fast-attacking builds like Frenzy Barbarians, Fury Druids, and Martial Arts Assassins. The small aura radius (7.3 yards) limits effectiveness. Eventually replaced by endgame options like Grief, Breath of the Dying, or Beast.
